The Rivers State House of Assembly has passed the ₦1.8 trillion 2026 Appropriation Bill into law, approving the spending plan for the state’s fiscal operations through September 2, 2027.
The bill was unanimously approved by the 26 lawmakers during the Assembly’s resumed sitting in Port Harcourt and will now be transmitted to Governor Siminalayi Fubara for assent.
