Nollywood actress and filmmaker, Funke Akindele, has seemingly put an end to the recent noise surrounding her relationship with filmmaker and skit maker Kamo State as she publicly threw her weight behind his new movie, Star Lomo.
Funke, in a post shared on her social media page on Saturday released the thriller of the much-anticipated movie and urged her followers and movie lovers to see the film in cinemas.
Her public show of support comes days after Kamo, addressed the speculation surrounding Funke’s absence from the premiere of Star Lomo.
Kamo had explained that Funke was out of the country when the premiere held, stressing that there was no problem between them.
According to him, he had spoken with the actress and she remained supportive of the project.
The development had generated conversations among fans and followers who noticed Funke’s absence from the premiere despite her previous association with the project.
But with the release of the thriller, Funke has now publicly promoted the movie, urging her audience to go to the cinemas to watch it.
The actress’ post also comes as Star Lomo begins its cinema run, giving her millions of followers a direct invitation to support the film.
Kamo State, who has continued to expand his career from skit-making into filmmaking, has previously acknowledged Funke’s support for his journey in the movie industry.
