With increased movement expected across Cross River during the Yuletide season, the state police command has opened dedicated lines for emergencies, complaints and other security concerns.
The command said the move was part of measures to ensure quick response to emergencies, suspicious activities and complaints as movement and social activities increase across the state during the festive period.
The Police Public Relations Officer, Eitokpah Sunday, disclosed this in a statement issued on Monday, urging residents and visitors to contact the command whenever they need assistance or notice suspicious persons, activities or situations.
For emergencies and other urgent security matters, members of the public can reach the command’s Control Room on 0704 177 7060 and 0705 335 5415.
Complaints relating to police conduct or service delivery can be lodged through the Police Complaint Response Unit on 0813 708 3052 and 0813 409 6900.
For media enquiries, requests for official information and clarification on police activities, the command provided the PPRO lines, 0706 797 7330 and 0905 827 3057.

It urged residents and visitors to celebrate responsibly, remain vigilant and avoid actions that could lead to public disorder.
