Big Brother disqualifies Nomy for breaching house rules

Big Brother Naija Season 11 housemate, Nomy has been disqualified from the ongoing “Show Ya Sef” reality show following repeated defiance of Big Brother’s instructions.

The disqualification followed another breach of Big Brother’s directives while Nomy was serving as the week’s “Bench Warmer.”

She had been instructed to remain on an assigned bench and wear a designated vest as punishment after her performance in the Head of House challenge.

Big Brother announced Nomy’s disqualification on Monday, citing her repeated disregard for his instructions, rules and punishments.

He subsequently revoked her privilege to continue participating in the competition and gave her 30 minutes to pack her belongings and leave the house.

Nomy’s latest violation came after she left her assigned bench and abandoned the vest she had been instructed to wear as part of her punishment.

Big Brother questioned her decision and reminded her of her previous disciplinary issues.

Earlier in the season, Nomy had received a strike and a final warning after repeatedly disregarding Big Brother’s instructions, including concerns over tardiness and selective participation in mandatory activities.

Despite the previous warning, Nomy continued to breach Big Brother’s directives, prompting him to revoke her participation in the competition.

Her disqualification brings her journey in the “Show Ya Sef” edition to an abrupt end and means she is no longer eligible to participate in the remaining activities or compete for the season’s grand prize.

Nomy, whose real name is Whitney Chukwu, is a 26-year-old fashion entrepreneur who joined the Big Brother Naija Season 11 house in July 2026.

Her exit makes her the latest housemate to leave the competition through disciplinary action rather than the regular eviction process.
