Five people have been charged following the death of a newborn baby in Sheffield.
The infant was found at a house in the Wincobank area on Sunday morning after police responded to concerns for her safety.
Two men aged 19 and 38, two women aged 20 and 37, and a 15-year-old girl have been arrested.
The adults face charges of murder, causing or allowing the death of a child, and trying to hide evidence by concealing the baby’s death.
The teenage girl has been charged with concealing evidence and cannot be named because of her age.
The five charged are Peter Horvath, 19; Andrea Skopova, 20; Nina Horvathova, 37; Peter Horvath, 38; and the unnamed 15-year-old.
All have been held in custody and will appear at Sheffield Magistrates’ Court.
Police are continuing to investigate the circumstances around how the baby died.
