Tope Osoba Biography
Temitope Osoba was born on December 2, 1985, in Abeokuta, Ogun State, Nigeria. She was my parents’ first kid, and my mother’s sole child. She lost her parents at a young age and was raised by her grandparents.
Osoba received her primary and secondary schooling in Lagos. She then studied Business Education at Olabisi Onabanjo University in Ogun State.
Career
Osoba entered the film industry in 2005. According to her, “Acting was not something I particularly enjoyed; I just found myself doing it.” I had worked in the entertainment industry for a long time before I began performing, so I knew what it entailed. Before I became an actor, I was a video vixen and a dancer. I was on my way home from school one day when I decided to stop by Ashogbon, which is a rehearsal location for actors. When I arrived, the rehearsal for Laide Bakare’s film Ijoya was in session. They discovered I was a dancer and offered me a role in the film. That is how I became an actor. The adventure has been great, and it has opened many possibilities for me. I just want to thank God for my life and for making me who I am today. Right now, I am glad to be an actress since it has become a part of me.”
Oogun Mi was her first major film, and it was through it that people became aware of her. Dayo Amusa produced the movie. Mercy Aigbe’s song “Gucci Girls” propelled her into the spotlight, and Late Bisi Komolafe’s song “Igboro Ti Daru” topped it all off.
Personal Life
Osoba is related to former Ogun State Governor Segun Osoba through her paternal grandfather. When asked about her romance, she replied, “I’m now in a relationship, and the happy person is somewhere chilling. I have never married. People phone me to ask about the story of my marriage, which is false. I was never married, and I’m not sure where this myth came from. I believe in marriage and want God to provide me with the appropriate man. I’m planning to marry someday.
