‘Something deeply wrong…’: Candace Owens accuses Erika Kirk of ‘partnering’ with Charlie's ‘enemies’
Candace Owens has attacked Erika Kirk again, this time over her so-called alliance with a reporter she claims Charlie Kirk “hated.” Candace accused Erika of being friendly with MS Now journalist Brandy Zadrozny, who called Charlie a conspiracy theorist after his death.
Candace wrote in one X post, “Charlie Kirk hated this reporter Brandy. So much so that when she contacted me almost immediately after his assassination, I had a visceral reaction—told her to kick rocks, and reminded her how nasty she had been to Charlie and TPUSA. It is of course, expected that Charlie’s wife didn’t care about that at all and chose to open the doors up, and grant Brandy an interview— despite the nasty articles that Brandy wrote about Charlie which are STILL available on the internet.”
“I have learned that Erika prefers to grieve with Charlie’s enemies. I’m glad Brandy included my response to her in this trash piece,” she added.
In another post, Candace shared a screenshot of a post Brandy wrote on X after Charlie’s death. The post read, “Charlie Kirk trafficked in conspiracy theories. In death, he became the main character in the ultimate one, spun by the White House. It’s a tactic I imagined Kirk would have approved of.”
Candace wrote, sharing the screenshot, “Can you imagine sitting down with the woman who authored this tweet, just six days after tour husband was murdered? Insulting your husband as a conspiracy theorist? I’m sorry but I just cannot with any person still pretending there isn’t something deeply wrong with Erika Kirk immediately taking over her husband’s organization, only to partner and collude with all of his enemies.”

She added, “Please just stop pretending any of this is normal. It feels like we are in the throes of the longest running Dateline episode ever.”
Producer Blake Neff responded to Candace, writing, “I wonder how Charlie felt about people who made up lies about his wife.”
Candace Owens’ claims
For months, Candace has made multiple claims and shared her own theories about Charlie’s death. She recently asked whether authorities ever shared a list of which FBI agents were on the ground at Utah Valley University (UVU) on the day of the crime. “Were we ever provided a list of which FBI agent were on the ground at UVU within 16 minutes of the explosive going off?” Candace wrote on X. “That’s actually a fascinating admission given the fact that the FBI office is located in Salt Lake City— a 45 minute drive away. What were the agents doing so close to UVU that day? Who were the first agents to arrive?”
Candace recently also shared what she claimed is never-before-seen footage showing Charlie’s killer. She posted an alleged new rooftop video of Losee Center where a man, who is supposedly Charlie’s shooter, can be seen running and doing military movements. Candace challenged the official account of the suspect, Tyler Robinson, which federal authorities presented.

The feds reportedly said that Robinson wore skinny jeans on the day Charlie was murdered, and that he hid his rifle inside his jeans, which is why he was limping that day. However, the video Candace shared shows the man running and doing a tactical crawl in the footage.
Candace recently also raised questions about where Charlie was buried. “Where is Charlie Kirk’s body buried? Why do I get the sense he was quietly cremated?” Owens wrote on X.
Kirk’s burial details were kept private. A massive memorial was attended by several people, including President Donald Trump and Vice President JD Vance.
Charlie, 31, was allegedly shot dead by Robinson on September 10, 2025, during an appearance at a campus event in Utah. The shooting happened around 12:20 pm local time during a student Q&A at UVU in Orem, per a statement from Utah Valley University (UVU).
