The Ilaro Muslim community in Ogun State has announced the burial arrangements for veteran Nollywood actor, Taiwo Hassan, popularly known as Ogogo.
According to a statement obtained by Per Second News, prayer for the deceased will be held tomorrow, Monday, at the Asade Agunloye Pavilion Ground in Ilaro.
The statement said the prayer is scheduled to commence at exactly 10:00 a.m., with members of the Muslim community expected to gather at the venue to pay their final respects to the late actor.
Ogogo, whose death was announced by his daughter, Kira, during a live session from the United Kingdom on Sunday, had been battling stage four cancer.
His death has sent shockwaves across the Nigerian entertainment industry, with colleagues, friends and fans mourning the veteran actor and remembering his contributions to Nollywood.
In the days leading to his death, several of Ogogo’s colleagues had rallied around him, with actors holding a special prayer session for his recovery amid concerns over his deteriorating health.
