Nasarawa Gov appoints five new permanent secretaries

Nasarawa State Governor, Abdullahi Sule, has approved the appointment of five new Permanent Secretaries into the state’s Public Service.

The appointments, according to the state government, are aimed at strengthening the Public Service, improving efficiency and enhancing service delivery to residents.

The Head of the Civil Service, Abigail Waya, announced the appointments in a statement issued on Tuesday.

The newly appointed Permanent Secretaries are Isa Osama from Doma Local Government Area; Adamu Akpa from Obi; Billrissu Adamu from Keffi; Justina Aliu from Nasarawa Eggon; and Ahmed Tsahu, also from Nasarawa Eggon.

The government said the appointments formed part of efforts to invigorate the state’s Public Service and build its capacity to deliver more effectively.

According to the statement, the new Permanent Secretaries will be sworn into office on a date to be announced by the state government.
