‘Na We Dey Love’ — Peller, Jarvis Respond to Wedding Critics

Popular TikTok personalities Habeeb Hamzat, popularly known as Peller, and Amadou Elizabeth Aminata, widely known as Jarvis or Jadrolita, have responded to critics of their recent wedding, urging detractors to focus on their own lives instead of expressing jealousy.

The newlywed couple shared a video on social media in which they danced together while appearing to mock those who questioned their decision to marry at a young age.

In the now-viral clip, the pair sang:

“Na we dey love, na them dey cry. Go and make it. No dey jealous. Na we dey buy car. You will run mad. Stop thinking.”

The video has since generated fresh reactions online, with many social media users interpreting it as a direct response to the criticism that followed their wedding.

Reacting to the clip, an X user identified as Lombardio wrote:

“This boy did the worst mistake of his life, but he has no idea. Here in America, before you agree to a court wedding with a woman, you need to sign a valid prenuptial agreement.”

Another user, Osinachi Wisdom, expressed support for the couple, saying:

“This marriage will favour them; many people expect them to break up later, but believe me, their union will be one of the best.”

A third user, identified simply as Jay, added:

“They both saw and knew their shortcomings; still, they got married. That’s real love. Marriage isn’t about love alone but the ability to manage shortcomings. I wish you two everlasting happiness and peace in your union.”

Peller and Jarvis’ wedding became one of Nigeria’s most talked-about social media events, attracting congratulatory messages from fans, celebrities and fellow content creators.

However, the ceremony also sparked criticism from some Nigerians, who argued that the couple were too young to get married and questioned whether they were emotionally and financially prepared for married life.

Despite the backlash, many supporters defended the pair, insisting that successful marriages are built on understanding, commitment and shared values rather than age alone.

The couple’s latest video suggests they remain unfazed by the criticism and are choosing instead to celebrate their relationship while responding to critics with humour.
