PROF. Nnamdi Onyire of Alex Ekwueme Federal University/Teaching Hospital, Abakaliki has given medical tips on how people can avoid suffering heart attack, which is a killer-health predicament.
Owing to the rising incidence of fatalities arising from people, who suffered heart attack, Onyire gave the health advice on how people could avert experiencing heart attacks via his social media handles.
He gave the advice that people should eat light night meals three hours before going to bed; and that they should take their anti-hypertensive drugs, nightly, if they’re hypertensive.
Dwelling further on the health matter, he stated that people should sleep on their left sides while emphasizing that people should treat their sleep Apnea OSA, that is, snoring, in order not to suffer heart attack.
Onyire, who is, also, the Chairman of Obosi Development Union (ODU) Health and Longevity Committee advised people to drink a full glass of water before going to bed to avoid dehydration at night.
While concluding, the medical expert stated that it’s mandatory for us to sleep in a room whose temperature is 18-22 C.
According to Prof. Onyire, if people abide by the aforementioned health rules, they will not suffer heart attack.
