Former President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan Monday commissioned the 18 completed township roads across Bauchi metropolis,describing them as a strategic investment for economic growth and development.
Speaking at the commissioning ceremony held in Yalwa,
Goodluck Jonathan appreciated Governor Bala Mohammed for implementing numerous developmental projects that have direct bearing on the lives and well-being of the people of the state.
He acknowledged the responsible and purposeful leadership of the Bauchi governor including remarkable infrastructure development for inclusive economic growth and development.
The former president called for proper utilisation of the completed township roads for sustainability.
He also used the medium to express gratitude to the entire people of Bauchi state during his term as the Nigerian president.
The Bauchi state governor, Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed, said the 18 completed township roads across Bauchi metropolis totaling over 49 billion naira reflected his administration’s achievements in infrastructure development.
