The family of the late actress, Tope Osoba, has announced that her burial service will hold on Thursday, August 13, 2026, at Saint James’ Anglican Church, Iperu Remo, Ogun State, with interment to follow immediately at the Iperu Remo Cemetery Ground.
According to the announcement, the burial service will be held between 10:00 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. at Saint James’ Anglican Church, Iperu Remo, after which her remains will be interred at the Iperu Remo Cemetery Ground.
In a funeral announcement shared on social media on Friday, the family described the late actress as “a wife, daughter, sister, and friend,” while unveiling the arrangements for her final rites.
The family also requested that all mourners observe a white dress code as they gather to celebrate her life and bid her a final farewell.
Osoba died on August 5, 2026, after a long battle with breast cancer, a journey she openly shared with the public in a bid to inspire and encourage others facing similar health challenges.
Her courage and resilience during her illness earned her admiration from fans and colleagues across the entertainment industry.
The memorial poster, titled “In Loving Memory,” identified the actress as Osoba Temitope Kofoworola (1985–2026) and paid tribute to her cherished roles within her family and community.
The announcement has since drawn an outpouring of condolences from fans, colleagues, and well-wishers, many of whom have continued to celebrate her contributions to the Nigerian film industry and the strength she displayed throughout her battle with cancer.
