‘Don’t Be Emotional’ — VeryDarkMan Reacts to Peter Okoye Family Dispute

Controversial social media activist Martins Vincent Otse, popularly known as VeryDarkMan (VDM), has urged Nigerians not to rush to judgment in the ongoing dispute involving music star Peter Okoye and his elder brother, Jude Okoye.

Speaking during a live session shared online, VDM said many Nigerians were allowing emotions to influence their opinions by supporting Peter without first hearing from the other parties involved.

According to him, people should avoid reaching conclusions until everyone connected to the dispute has had an opportunity to present their side of the story.

“Nigerians are so emotional. This is why Mohbad will never get justice. Everybody is supporting Peter, but they have yet to hear from Paul and Jude,” he said.

VDM argued that public opinion should not be shaped by a single narrative, stressing the importance of hearing all sides before making judgments.

His remarks have generated mixed reactions across social media, with some users agreeing that fairness requires listening to every party involved, while others maintained that Peter Okoye’s allegations deserve serious consideration.

The comments come amid renewed public attention on the long-running rift within the Okoye family, following the release of Mr P’s “Part 8” series, which reignited discussions surrounding the brothers’ business relationship and financial disagreements.

The dispute has remained one of the most talked-about issues in Nigeria’s entertainment industry, with fans closely following developments as the parties continue to share their perspectives.
