Dangote Petroleum Refinery has announced price reductions on refined petroleum products as part of efforts to enhance affordability and support broader economic activity across Nigeria.
The refinery lowered the ex-depot price of petrol by N50 per litre, bringing it to N1,165 from N1,215 per litre.
Diesel prices were reduced by N80 per litre, falling to N1,570 from N1,650 per litre.
The refinery characterised the price adjustment as reflecting its commitment to supplying affordable, high-quality petroleum products to the domestic market whilst improving access to refined fuels and supporting economic operations nationwide.
The facility indicated that it would continue transferring benefits derived from operational efficiencies to consumers whenever market circumstances permit.
The refinery stressed its role in strengthening Nigeria’s energy independence, reducing import dependence, and facilitating national economic development through the supply of globally competitive petroleum products.
