Dangote Fertilizer Limited has released a four-step protocol for Nigerians interested in becoming official distributors of its Urea fertilizer.
Before registering, interested distributors must register with the Federal Ministry of Agriculture’s Farm Input Support Services Department.
The company requires various documents, such as audited financial statements, CAC certificates, and tax clearance certificates.
Dangote Fertilizer Limited (DFL) has announced the official measures that firms and people must take to become distributors of its Urea fertilizer product in Nigeria, outlining a four-step process that begins with federal government registration.
According to the corporation, potential distributors must first register with the Federal Ministry of Agriculture and Food Security’s Farm Input Support Services (FISS) Department via the National Fertilizer Management Program portal here.
How to Apply for a Dangote Fertilizer Distributorship

Following the initial registration, candidates will get distributorship application forms, registration instructions, and Know Your Customer (KYC) due diligence forms by email.

Submission process
Please submit the completed forms and supporting documentation in person to DFL’s headquarters at Km 15, Lekki Coastal Road, Okunraye, Ibeju Lekki, Lagos.
Applicants may also send their documents by courier. Following a successful review, DFL will generate a customer code.
The applicant will thereafter get an appointment letter via email. The newly registered distributor can then start business activities and place orders.
Minimum Order Quantities and Support Services
DFL’s Dangote Urea Fertilizer, which comes in 50kg bags, must be ordered in complete truckloads. Available truck sizes are 30 metric tons (600 bags), 36 metric tons (720 bags), and 45 metric tons (900 bags).
Beyond the distributorship procedure, DFL highlighted the support services it provides to farmers.
These include the Dangote Agricultural Service (DAS), which offers professional training, demonstration farms, field days, and multilingual farmer support, as well as a free mobile soil testing service that examines nutrient requirements and recommends the best fertilizer application.
The company stated that its Urea fertilizer, which has a nitrogen level of 46%, is intended to provide even field coverage, faster crop development, and higher yields while being easy to handle due to its low moisture content.
