A man claiming to be a neighbor of the former music duo, P-Square has broken his silence amid ongoing rift, shedding light on the situation.
This comes amid the twins’ social media back-and-forth drama, sparking concerns among fans and industry colleagues.
Man Breaks Silence Amid P-Square Rift
In a now-viral tweet, the man, identified as @DirectorBello, admitted he was unaware the duo were at odds.
He further opened up about his routine anytime he saw the twins at their gate, waving at them and reminiscing on their throwback hits.
”All this while being Psquare’s neighbor i never noticed any drama happening, teenage me was waving at them and dancing alingo whenever i saw them by their gate, so i was adding to Peter’s anger“, The tweet reads.
P-Square’s Rise To Fame
P-Square is a Nigerian music duo made up of identical twins Peter and Paul Okoye.
They started out in the late 1990s as dancers in church and school talent shows in Jos.
Notably, the duo broke into the mainstream in 2003 with their debut album `Last N Last`.
During this period, P-Square became one of Africa’s biggest musical exports and helped put Afrobeats on the global map.
However, they parted ways in 2017 but reunited in 2021 and continue to perform together.
