A Nigerian lady has sparked reactions online after sharing her 2026 West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) result despite having good grades in several subjects.
The young lady, identified as Ndubuisi Gift from Saint Maria Goretti Grammar School in Benin City, shared her result on TikTok after the West African Examinations Council (WAEC) released the results on August 5, 2026.
Lady shares WAEC result online
In a post shared on TikTok, Ndubuisi expressed her disappointment after checking her grades, revealing that she performed poorly in the subjects she considered most important.
She wrote:
“WAEC release today. I got weak in my important subjects. Trying again next year.”
The screenshot of her result showed that she recorded five B grades and one C grade across some of her subjects.
Her grades included: Civic Education: B2, Marketing: B3, Economics: B3, Agriculture: B3, Biology: B3, English Language: C4.
However, she scored D7 in General Mathematics and D7 in Physics, which she described as her key subjects.
Student hints at rewriting WAEC in 2027
The disappointing grades in Mathematics and Physics left the student considering another attempt at the examination in 2027.
Rather than hide her result, Ndubuisi shared her experience publicly and indicated that she was determined to try again.
Her post has since attracted reactions from social media users, with many encouraging her not to give up and praising her decision to keep working towards improving her grades.
