Real Madrid winger Vinicius Junior has caught the attention of football fans after publicly inviting Manchester City striker Erling Haaland to join him during his off-season holiday.
The Brazilian international shared a series of photos on social media from his vacation in Rio de Janeiro, where he is spending time with family and friends following Brazil’s campaign at the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
Among the images was one showing Vinicius working out alongside American actor Terry Crews, while another featured Crews holding the Brazil national team jersey worn by the Real Madrid star.
In the caption accompanying the post, Vinicius tagged Haaland and wrote: “We are waiting for you, @erling.”
The invitation quickly generated reactions from football fans, many of whom linked it to the growing friendship between the two players.

While there is no indication that the post is related to football transfers, it has once again highlighted the friendly relationship between two of the game’s biggest stars as they prepare for the new club season.
