Tinubu Condemns Kaduna Massacre, Orders Manhunt for Assailants
President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has strongly condemned the deadly attack on Naridon Village in Kamaru Ward of Kauru Local Government Area of Kaduna State, describing the assault as a barbaric and cowardly act against innocent civilians.
The attack, which occurred in the early hours of Monday, claimed the lives of about 30 residents, including women and children, while several houses were set ablaze.
In a statement issued on Tuesday by the Special Adviser to the President on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, President Tinubu described the killings as an unprovoked act of terror against defenceless citizens and vowed that those responsible would be brought to justice.
He stressed that individuals seeking to undermine the peace and security recently recorded in Kaduna State would not escape punishment.
The President extended his condolences to the families of the victims, Governor Uba Sani, the Kaduna State Government, and the people of the state over the tragic incident.
Tinubu also assured the state government and the affected communities of the Federal Government’s support, reaffirming his administration’s determination to address security challenges across the country.
According to the statement, the President has directed the Armed Forces, the Nigeria Police Force, and relevant intelligence agencies to intensify operations in the affected areas to swiftly track down the perpetrators and restore normalcy.

He reiterated his administration’s commitment to strengthening the nation’s security architecture by improving security infrastructure, enhancing the operational capacity of response personnel, and dismantling criminal networks threatening national peace.
President Tinubu also urged residents of affected communities to support ongoing security operations by providing credible and actionable intelligence that would enable security agencies to respond promptly to emerging threats.
The attack is one of the latest incidents of violence in parts of Kaduna State, where security forces have continued efforts to curb banditry and other forms of violent crime.
