‘Politics Is Not for Spectators’ – Seyi Tinubu Sends Message to APC Members

Seyi Tinubu, son of President Bola Tinubu, has urged supporters of the All Progressives Congress (APC) to intensify grassroots mobilisation ahead of the 2027 general elections.

Speaking at a gathering of party supporters in Abuja on Monday, Seyi Tinubu said political success depends on active engagement with voters across communities rather than relying solely on online campaigns.

He encouraged party members to become ambassadors of the administration by communicating with Nigerians through facts, empathy and responsible leadership.

APC supporters urged to engage communities

According to Seyi Tinubu, party loyalists should take their message directly to neighbourhoods, towns and households to strengthen public support.

He stressed that politics requires organisation, commitment and consistent engagement, urging supporters to remain active as preparations for the next general election gather momentum.

Shoga sets 10 million vote target

Also speaking at the event, APC chieftain Hon. Francis Shoga challenged supporters to work towards securing 10 million votes for the party.

Shoga said the target would only be achieved through effective grassroots structures, direct voter engagement and sustained mobilisation.

He noted that campaign success would depend on bringing more people into the movement and maintaining strong community-based political structures.

Call for greater participation

Shoga further encouraged supporters to take ownership of the campaign by organising at the local level and encouraging others to participate.

He said future generations would judge the commitment shown by party members during the electioneering period, urging them to remain focused on delivering results through hard work rather than depending on social media activity alone.
