The principal of Community Grammar School, Ahoro-Esienle, rescued last Friday with 43 others, Mrs Rachael Alamu, has been discharged from the Ladoke Akintola University of Technology Teaching Hospital, (LAUTECH) in Ogbomoso.
Sources said Mrs Alamu was discharged late Tuesday night at the LAUTECH hospital after she was certified medically fit to return home by the hospital management.
Few minutes after her discharge from the hospital, the principal was handed over to her husband, Professor Wole Alamu.
Sources at the hospital said Mrs Alamu was made to undergo a series of medical examinations at the LAUTECH hospital to ascertain her fitness before she was eventually discharged.
A source at the hospital said: “It is true that Mrs Alamu has been discharged after being certified medically fit to reunite with her family.
“Her husband, Prof Wole Alamu was around yesterday night to take her home.”
