Nigerian music icon, Innocent Idibia, popularly known as 2Baba, has addressed the renewed speculation surrounding his relationship with his former wife, Annie Idibia, following the circulation of a video showing the pair dancing together.
The clip, which resurfaced on social media in recent days, triggered widespread reactions, with many fans suggesting the former couple may have rekindled their relationship despite announcing the end of their marriage.
The video also generated conversations among celebrities and social media users, including some who publicly supported either 2Baba or Annie during their separation.
Responding to the rumours, Annie cautioned people against believing everything they come across online. In a post shared via her Instagram Stories on Monday, she wrote:
“Believe everything u see on social media at ur expense.”
Shortly afterwards, 2Baba also reacted through his Instagram Stories, clarifying that the video currently circulating online was recorded long before their separation.
“Abeg nah old video o,” the veteran singer wrote.
