“Nobody knew your picture until I made it trend” – Anita Joseph slams Caramel Plug over AI photo controversy
Nollywood actress Anita Joseph has reignited her feud with socialite Caramel Plug following their recent exchange over a cropped photo.
Taking to her Instagram page, Anita claimed Caramel’s picture only gained attention because of the controversy involving her, insisting she was the reason it trended online.
According to the actress, she had already apologised over the incident, but Caramel’s response prompted her to address the issue again.
“Nobody knew you took a picture like that. Girl, your picture didn’t even trend; I made it trend. Now put some respect on that name you don’t know. Okwa e feel go’ya now? I apologised, yet you sent that reply.
My children say make I delete apology. My babies, I have. Let’s help her trend now, as her pic no even trend,” she wrote.
Anita also revealed that her fans advised her to delete the apology she initially shared, adding that she had followed their advice.
The drama began after Caramel accused Anita Joseph of using her photo and allegedly editing her head out of it.
Although Anita later apologised and blamed the incident on artificial intelligence (AI), Caramel dismissed the explanation, sarcastically telling the actress to ask her “imaginary AI boy” to do better next time.
Responding to the backlash, Anita maintained that she did not blame Caramel for reacting the way she did, but instead held the tech studio responsible for the alleged mix-up.
The exchange has continued to generate reactions across social media.
