Veteran Nollywood actress Ngozi Nwosu has made a public appeal for financial support as she battles an undisclosed illness requiring urgent medical attention.
The actress shared an emotional video on her Instagram page on Thursday, revealing that she has been admitted to hospital for several weeks and now requires three life-saving surgeries.
According to Nwosu, doctors have recommended the procedures, and she urgently needs ₦30 million to cover the cost of her treatment.
Speaking from her hospital bed, the actress said she could no longer keep her health struggles private, describing the decision to seek public assistance as a difficult one.
“I have been hospitalized for three weeks. Please I need your help, don’t let me die. My fans, friends, family and colleagues, this was really hard for me to do, but I can’t keep quiet anymore. I need urgent life-saving surgeries,” she said.
She also appealed to supporters to share her message and assist in any way they can, while expressing hope that she would receive the help needed for the procedures.
In the post accompanying the video, Nwosu included her account details and urged members of the public not to ignore her appeal.
The actress wrote:
