Nollywood actress Adebimpe Oyebade, popularly known as Mo Bimpe, has vowed to pursue legal action against individuals spreading what she described as false claims about her family.
The actress reacted after a social media post alleged that her husband, actor Lateef Adedimeji, had filed for divorce following claims of a paternity issue involving one of their newborn triplets.
The viral post, shared by an X user, claimed that a hospital blood donation process allegedly raised questions about the children’s paternity and that a DNA test reportedly showed Lateef was not their biological father.
However, Mo Bimpe dismissed the claims as entirely false.
In a series of posts on her Instagram Story on Tuesday, the actress described the report as fabricated and condemned the use of what she said were fake AI-generated images alongside false information.
Expressing anger over the allegations, she warned those responsible to stop involving her children in online misinformation.
“I don’t want to hear justice for whatever your stupid name is by the time I am ready for you,” she wrote.
Mo Bimpe accused online trolls of targeting her for years but said she would no longer remain silent when false stories affect her family.
She also made it clear that she would not hesitate to explore legal options against anyone responsible for publishing or spreading the claims.
“You silly trolls have constantly trolled me on these platforms for years & I’ve been quiet, but what I wouldn’t take is you bringing your stupidity to my children. Be warned! I won’t hesitate to take the right action if need be.”
The actress further criticised the circulation of fake photographs and fabricated stories, describing the act as irresponsible.
