Melania’s top aide mocked for ‘hilarious’ claim on NewsMax: ‘He has no clue’

First lady Melania Trump’s top aide was brutally mocked on Tuesday after he made a wild claim during an interview on NewsMax.

Marc Beckman, a senior aide to the first lady, claimed during the interview that Melania Trump was “the most consequential first lady in [the] history of our nation.” He cited her work with “kids all over the place,” and argued that she has had substantive influence on the peace process between Ukraine and Russia.

“If you look at everything that NATO has done, all of the world leaders, what more substantive has occurred?” he said.

Beckman’s comments drew swift mockery online.

“He apparently has no clue what consequential means,” Chris Jackson, a political strategist, posted to his more than 132,000 followers on X.

“Tell us you’re in a cult without actually saying it…” Andy Ostroy, a writer, told his more than 90,000 followers on X.

“F—— HILARIOUS,” Malcom Nance, a national security expert, postedto his over-1-million followers on X.

“As you watch this remember someone thought this made sense to say out loud and on television…” Jen Psaki, an MS NOW anchor, posted to her more than 1.3 million followers on X.

“Wow, he actually said this with a straight face!” Norman Ornstein, a political scientist and contributing editor at The Atlantic, posted to his 230,000 followers on X.
