The record was confirmed in a post on X, where Guinness World Records announced that 85 musicians performed together during the event held at the Balmoral Convention Centre, Lagos, in December 2025.
According to the organisation, the performance featured a conductor, lead singer, choir, dancers and an 85-member orchestra, showcasing the fusion of Afrobeats and orchestral music.

The record-setting concert, tagged “Trench Symphony: The Dapper Live Experience,” took place on December 16, 2025, and featured performances by Fuji stars King Saheed Osupa and KS1 Malaika, alongside T.I Blaze, Rybeena, Bhadboi OML, Kashcoming, TML Vibez, Lasmid, Heis Cazulee and Dwillsharmony.
Organisers had earlier announced that the performance had been reviewed and verified by Guinness World Records, describing the event as a unique blend of Afrobeats, Fuji and orchestral arrangements aimed at redefining live music performances.
Dapper Live & Artists is associated with Nigerian music executive Damilola Akinwunmi, popularly known as Dapper, who is also known for his relationship with celebrity chef and Guinness World Records holder Hilda Baci.
