FCT: Kuje LGA chair congratulates Sabo on historic gold medal achievement 


The executive chairman of Kuje area council, Hon. Danjuma Samuel Shekwolo, has extended his heartfelt congratulations to one of Kuje’s distinguished sons, Mr. Rilwan Idris Sabo, following his remarkable victory at the 2026 Commonwealth Games para powerlifting competition in Glasgow, Scotland.

Mr. Sabo delivered an exceptional performance by lifting an impressive 208 kilograms to win Nigeria’s first gold medal in the men’s heavyweight para power lifting event, bringing pride and honour to the nation on the international stage.

Describing the achievement as historic and inspiring, Hon. Shekwolo commended Mr. Sabo for his unwavering dedication, resilience, discipline, and commitment to excellence.
