“Are you even sure that is a baby in there or fibroid” – Lady blames mother-in-law after heartbreaking pregnancy loss

A woman has sparked emotional reactions online after allegedly blaming her mother-in-law for the loss of her pregnancy, following a disturbing comment the older woman made during an unannounced visit.

According to the account shared by the woman’s friend, the couple had been married for four years and had been trying to have a child.

After experiencing several miscarriages, they decided to keep the latest pregnancy secret from relatives until they were certain it was progressing well.

However, the plan changed when the husband’s mother unexpectedly visited their home last month and discovered that her daughter-in-law was six months pregnant.

Mother-in-law’s remark raises concern

The friend said the expectant mother later reflected on the visit and believed her mother-in-law did not appear pleased about the pregnancy.

Recounting the incident, the friend said the older woman asked how many months pregnant she was before making a comment that shocked both husband and wife.

The friend said, “Are you even sure that is a baby in there or fibroid” that sometimes doctors confuses both!

She added that the woman’s husband immediately questioned the remark, but his mother reportedly replied that she “was just saying.”

Three days ago, the expectant mother suffered another miscarriage, leaving the couple devastated.

Loss triggers emotional debate online

According to the friend, the grieving woman has since said she wants to leave the marriage and now believes her mother-in-law was responsible for the loss of the baby.

The emotional story has generated widespread reactions on social media, with many expressing sympathy for the bereaved woman while urging her not to blame herself during such a painful period.

Others cautioned against attributing the miscarriage to unverified spiritual or supernatural causes, encouraging the family to focus on emotional healing and medical support as they mourn the loss.
