Serie A club Napoli have appointed Massimiliano Allegri as their new head coach, replacing Antonio Conte.
The Italian champions announced on Friday that the 58-year-old has signed a three-year contract that will keep him at the club until 2029.

“Napoli welcomes Massimiliano Allegri as manager of the first team,” the club said in a statement.
Allegri returns to management after leaving AC Milan, where he was dismissed after the club failed to qualify for next season’s UEFA Champions League. He previously enjoyed successful spells with Juventus and AC Milan.
Conte, who guided Napoli to the 2024/25 Serie A title, is widely tipped to become Italy’s next national team coach.
The former Italy international previously managed the Azzurri between 2014 and 2016, leading them to the quarter-finals of Euro 2016.
Napoli’s appointment continues a busy managerial reshuffle in Serie A, with nine of the league’s 20 clubs changing coaches since the end of last season.
