At least 13 people have been confirmed dead, alongside many others suffering different degrees of injuries following a Russian missile attack on a community in Ukraine.
Russia was said to have launched 656 drones and 77 missiles against the neighbouring country causing damages to a military industrial complex as well as other 37 sites which were residence for other affected Ukraine citizens.
The mishap on Tuesday led to nine people, including a child, dead when a four-story collapsed killed in Dnipro, the authorities disclosing that several people were still unaccounted for u der the rubble.
In Kiev, four people were said to have died and 58 others, including two children were severely wounded, as relayed by the city’s mayor, Vitali Klitschko.
In the city, over 140,000 people were left without electricity, but utility workers later restored power to 110,000 of them.
In Kharkiv, 10 people, including a child were gruesomely wounded, while one other died in Kursk region. In Krasnodar, there was a sparked fire at an oil refinery.
The incident has led to several reactions, notably from the Foreign Minister, Andriy Sybiga, who said that Russia President, Vladimir Putin is running out of military options in his years-long invasion of Ukraine.
Ukraine president, Volodtmyr Zelenskyy, told the citizens, “Please pay attention to air alerts, protect your lives. Our services are working efficiently and are prepared, the Air Force and other defenders of our skies will be on duty 24/7, as always.”
