PZ Cussons Nigeria Plc has announced a leadership transition as its Chief Executive Officer, Dimitrios Kostianis, stepped down after three years at the helm of the consumer goods company.
The company disclosed the development in a notification to shareholders, the investing public, and the Nigerian Exchange Limited, signed by its Company Secretary, ALSEC Nominees Limited.
According to the notification, Kostianis resigned from his position and will also step down from the Board of PZ Cussons Nigeria Plc with effect from May 31, 2026, to assume a new role within the wider PZ Cussons Group.
The Board expressed appreciation for his contributions, noting that he served with dedication and played a key role in the company’s turnaround, including the restoration of profitability and a positive equity position during his tenure.
In a related development announced on Monday, PZ Cussons Nigeria named Oghale Elueni as its new Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, effective June 1, 2026.
Elueni, who currently serves as Managing Director of the company’s consumer business, joined PZ Cussons Nigeria in 2021 and previously held senior leadership roles at SC Johnson and Procter & Gamble across Africa and the United States.
The company said it is confident that the new leadership will sustain its growth trajectory and continue advancing its strategic objectives.
