The President Bola Ahmed Tinubu (PBAT) Vanguard, Friday, commissioned its campaign office in Ekinrin-Adde, Kogi state to deepen campaign and mobilisation strategies for a seamless of the Asiwaju of Nigeria during the 2027 presidential election.
The group also inaugurated 33 coordinators to strengthen grassroots mobilisation and expand support for the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu across the Kabba-Bunu/Ijumu Federal Constituency and beyond.
The event, which attracted political leaders, government officials, traditional rulers, party faithful, youth and women groups, and other stakeholders, marked another significant milestone in the movement’s drive to deepen citizen-engagement and promote the policies and programmes of the Tinubu administration.
The campaign office was commissioned by Maj.- Gen Julius Olakunle Sunday (JOS) Oshanupin (rtd.), a former Commander of the Guards Brigade, who commended the vision behind the movement and urged members to remain committed to grassroots mobilisation and national development.
Among other dignitaries present at the event were Maj.- Gen Taiwo Durowaiye (rtd.), former Director of the Nigeria Army Farm Limited; Hon. Victor Ade Omofaiye, Director General of the Kogi State Commodity Exchange and Export Promotion Agency; the Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Ijumu local government, Hon. Oyewole Solomon, Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Kabba Bunu local government, Hon. Kobere Jimoh, as well as several political leaders, community stakeholders and supporters of the Renewed Hope Agenda.
Speaking during the ceremony, the national coordinator and convener of PBAT Vanguard, Amb. Ademola Moribirin, described the occasion as “historic and memorable,” noting that the movement, which began over two years ago, has evolved into a credible grassroots platform committed to supporting President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s vision for national development.
According to Moribirin, “PBAT Vanguard has consistently championed community outreach, public enlightenment, stakeholder engagement, grassroots mobilisation, and advocacy for increased citizen participation in governance.
“The commissioning of this office is not merely about opening a building; it is a symbol of our collective belief in the Renewed Hope Agenda and our determination to deepen grassroots participation in governance.
“It represents a centre for mobilisation, coordination, advocacy, engagement and service to the people.”
As part of the event, 33 coordinators were formally inaugurated to oversee mobilisation efforts across the Kabba-Bunu/Ijumu Federal Constituency, comprising coordinators representing Ijumu LGA, Kabba-Bunu LGA, and the Kabba-Bunu/Ijumu Federal Constituency, alongside ward coordinators covering all 30 political wards across the two local government areas.
Charging the newly inaugurated coordinators, the convener urged them to immediately commence aggressive grassroots mobilisation by taking the message of the Renewed Hope Agenda to every part of the constituency.
The PBAT Vanguard boss tasked them to move from ward to ward, polling unit to polling unit, and from door to door, educating citizens on the achievements, policies, and programmes of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration while encouraging greater participation in the democratic process.
“Our strength lies at the grassroots. Every coordinator must become an ambassador of the Renewed Hope Agenda, ensuring that our message reaches every household, every polling unit, every ward, and every community,” he said.
