An old video of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu revealing his encounter with the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Pastor Enoch Adeboye, has gone viral online.
In the resurfaced clip, Tinubu stated that Pastor Adeboye once referred to him as the “father of the nation.”
Tinubu Recalls Meeting With Pastor Adeboye
The resurfaced video shows President Tinubu speaking during a meeting with members of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) and other Christian leaders in Kano State, where he recounted his interaction with the RCCG leader.
According to him, Pastor Adeboye gave him the name “Abraham” and explained its meaning.
“The day my wife was ordained Pastor in the Redeemed Church, I was there. Pastor Adeboye gave me Abraham, I said what is the meaning? He said watch out, the father of nation,” Tinubu said.
Video Resurfaces Amid National Concerns
The old video has resurfaced at a time when Nigerians continue to face economic hardship and security challenges across different parts of the country.
