The National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON) has announced that return flights for Nigerian pilgrims from Makkah, Saudi Arabia, will begin on Wednesday, June 3, 2026.
NAHCON, in an official statement, held that the said the schedule was designed to ensure safe and orderly transportation back home, in an exercise exercise will would cover pilgrims who participated in this year’s Hajj, allowing them to return to Nigeria after completing the rites.
The Commission directed the pilgrims to register, update or transfer their information, or replace a lost or damaged PVC, urging them to follow the it’s Portal for more information.
It also added that the arrangements have been made to coordinate departures from Saudi Arabia, ensuring that pilgrims are transported in phases to avoid congestion and delays.
NAHCON reiterated its commitment to transparency and accountability in managing the pilgrimage process, stressing that the safe return of pilgrims remains a top priority.
The body encouraged participants to remain patient and cooperative as the phased return schedule unfolds.
