The Mexico national team has gotten themselves on a solid start at the 2026 FIFA World Cup after recording a 2-0 win over South Africa in the opening game of the competition.
Julian Quinones and Raul Jimenez scored for the winning side on Thursday in a game which has interventions of the Video Assistant Referee, VAR, and three red cards.
