Man United Add Victor Osimhen To Striker Transfer Shortlist

Manchester United have reportedly added Nigeria forward Victor Osimhen to their list of attacking targets as the club plans to strengthen its squad ahead of next season.

The Premier League giants are searching for more firepower in attack and have identified several forwards who could increase competition for Benjamin Šeško.

United invested heavily in Šeško last summer, but the club is looking to add more experience and competition in the striker position.

Osimhen emerges as top attacking option

Reports indicate that Galatasaray striker Osimhen is viewed as one of the leading options being considered by Manchester United.

The Nigerian forward enjoyed another productive campaign, contributing 22 goals and eight assists for the Turkish club.

His pace, strength and finishing ability have made him one of Europe’s most highly rated strikers.

However, securing his signature could prove challenging due to interest from other top clubs and the expected cost of a potential transfer.

United monitor other forwards

Apart from Osimhen, Manchester United are also believed to be monitoring other attacking options.

The club has reportedly shown interest in Crystal Palace striker Jean-Philippe Mateta, Juventus forward Dušan Vlahović, Bournemouth youngster Eli Junior Kroupi and veteran striker Robert Lewandowski.

The search forms part of United’s wider plan to improve their attacking options ahead of the new campaign.
