Hisbah hails Kebbi Gov. over legal reform, funding, operational vehicles

THE Kebbi Hisbah Board, an agency under the Ministry of Religious Affairs, has expressed sincere appreciation to Gov. Nasir Idris for his unwavering support and commitment to strengthening the board’s activities.

The Director of Shariah at the board, Sirajo Kamba, made the disclosure in a statement issued to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on Wednesday in Birnin Kebbi.

NAN reports that the state government has been assisting the board with operational vehicles to improve mobility, as well as adequate funding for other logistics.

Kamba described Gov. Idris’s support as remarkable, observing that the governor’s particular attention had improved the board’s efficiency and effectiveness.

He said: “Among the landmark achievements of the present administration are the enhancement of the Kebbi Hisbah Law, the rehabilitation of three operational vehicles, and the provision of three additional vehicles to improve the board’s effectiveness and mobility across the state.

“This administration has also demonstrated a strong commitment to promoting moral values, combating social vices, enhancing the welfare of Hisbah personnel, and supporting initiatives aimed at maintaining peace, security, and social harmony throughout the state.

“The Kebbi Hisbah Board highly appreciates these remarkable contributions and reaffirms its commitment to supporting government’s vision of building a peaceful, disciplined, and morally upright society.”

He pledged the agency’s commitment to continue praying to Almighty Allah to bless the governor with good health, success, and wisdom in service not only to his people but to humanity.
