Nigerian superstar Davido has been confirmed as one of the headline performers for the FIFA World Cup 2026 Countdown Concert series, scheduled to take place in Los Angeles, United States.
The announcement was made by the Fédération Internationale de Football Association (FIFA), which said the event will hold on Wednesday, June 10, as part of global build-up activities for the 2026 tournament.
Global Stars Set for Los Angeles Show
According to FIFA, the Los Angeles concert will feature international DJ group Diplo’s Major Lazer alongside Davido, with more artists expected to be added to the line-up.
The event will take place at the Crypto.com Arena and is designed as part of a coordinated multi-city celebration across the United States, Mexico, and Canada.
Multi-City Countdown Concert Series
The Countdown Concert series will connect live performances across host cities, including Mexico City and Toronto, creating a simultaneous global entertainment experience.
FIFA described the initiative as a celebration of music, culture, and football unity ahead of the tournament.
Tickets, Broadcast and Global Reach
Tickets for the Los Angeles concert will be available from Wednesday, June 3, while the show will also be streamed globally through FIFA digital platforms.
The event will additionally feature livestream coverage on FIFA’s official TikTok account, with full replay content expected the following day.
