Grammy-winning Nigerian singer Temilade Openiyi, popularly known as Tems, has explained why she would not consider dating fellow Nigerian celebrities.
The singer shared her thoughts while responding to a question during an interview at the BET Awards ceremony.

Tems was asked whether she would approach Super Eagles goalkeeper Maduka Okoye if she had the opportunity.
The “Love Me Jeje” singer explained that because they are both Nigerians in the entertainment and public spotlight, she sees such relationships differently.
According to her, Nigerian celebrities often share a close bond and she views many of her male colleagues as family.

The award-winning artiste said she knows who Okoye is but does not personally have a relationship with him.
She added that she does not approach fellow Nigerian celebrities romantically because she considers them friends and brothers.
