Arsenal confirm departure of 15 players ahead of summer exit

Arsenal Football Club has announced a list of players set to leave the club when their current contracts expire on June 30, 2026, marking a significant squad reshuffle across its men’s, women’s, and academy teams.

The list includes first-team players, under-21 and under-18 scholars, as well as several members of the women’s squad who have represented the club at various levels.

Those confirmed to be departing include Sam Chapman, Laia Codina, Harrison Dudziak, Seb Ferdinand, Cam’ron Ismail, Will Lannin-Sweet, Katie McCabe, Beth Mead, Josh Nichols, Samuel Onyekachukwu, Victoria Pelova, Alexei Rojas-Fedorushchenko, Barbora Votikova, Naomi Williams, and Manuela Zinsberger.

The club said the departures form part of its routine end-of-contract review process as it continues to reshape its squads ahead of the new season.

However, Arsenal noted that discussions are still ongoing with a number of players whose contracts also expire in 2026. Those players include Caitlin Foord, Aleksander Marciniak, and Joshua Ogunnaike, with negotiations expected to continue over their future at the club.

The development comes as Arsenal continues its broader strategy of balancing youth development with squad stability across both its men’s and women’s teams, while planning for long-term competitiveness in domestic and European competitions.
