2027: Kwankwaso Holds Meeting With Nasarawa NDC Candidates [PHOTOS]

The Vice Presidential candidate of the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) for the 2027 general election, Rabi’u Kwankwaso, on Tuesday held a strategic meeting with the party’s candidates from Nasarawa State.

The meeting took place at Kwankwaso’s residence in Maitama, Abuja, and was focused on strengthening the party’s structures, promoting unity among stakeholders, and refining strategies ahead of future political engagements.

Sources familiar with the meeting said discussions centred on consolidating support for the NDC in Nasarawa State and aligning party members with the movement’s broader vision for the country.

The engagement also underscored the party’s commitment to building a united, people-oriented platform aimed at delivering meaningful change to Nigerians.

Kwankwaso was officially unveiled as the NDC’s vice-presidential candidate on Saturday, shortly after the party announced former Anambra State governor, Peter Obi, as its presidential flag bearer for the 2027 election.

Both Obi and Kwankwaso recently defected from the African Democratic Congress (ADC) to the NDC, citing persistent internal disputes and legal battles within their former party.
