Hajj Security Forces have arrested a Saudi resident alongside two Egyptian nationals and Yemeni residents for allegedly violating Hajj regulations after attempting to enter Makkah without the required official permits.
As learnt, the suspects were intercepted while trying to gain access to the holy city through an unauthorized desert route, in what was described as an attempt to bypass established entry checkpoints and regulatory controls put in place for the pilgrimage period.
The arrests form part of ongoing enforcement measures aimed at ensuring strict compliance with Hajj regulations, which are designed to regulate crowd movement, safeguard public safety, and maintain order during the annual pilgrimage.
According to the force, procedures have since been initiated against the individuals involved, in line with applicable laws governing unauthorized entry and violation of Hajj rules.
It also urged the public to support enforcement efforts by reporting any violations through emergency hotline 911 in the regions of Makkah, Madinah, Riyadh, and the Eastern Province, and 999 in other parts of the Kingdom.
