Seadove Generale Surveillance Firm Restricted, a subcontractor to Tantita Safety and Maton Engineering Nig. Ltd has counseled President Ahmed Tinubu for the extension of pipeline surveillance contract to Akwa Ibom state.
The Group Managing Director of Seadove, Dr. Alban Paulinus, spoke throughout stakeholders’ engagement with oil producing communities, weekend in Uyo, the Akwa Ibom state capital.
Paulinus, represented by the chief director, Enterprise Growth and Technique, Mr Godwin Ekpo, described the transfer as a strategic step in direction of curbing vandalism and increase group safety.
He stated the contract would strengthen safety of crucial infrastructure and create extra jobs for host communities and enhance investor confidence within the space.
”At present, we’ve employed over 600 youth of Akwa Ibom and we’ve carried out medical outreaches wherein we deal with individuals on completely different diseases together with surgical procedures.
“All these occur as a result of the pipeline surveillance contract has been given to us and we’re subcontractors to Tantita and Maton Engineering Nig.
”We thank the President Bola Tinubu authorities for sustaining the contract Tantita and Maton which has allowed us to do all of the issues we’ve been in a position to do.”
He pledged to “collaborate with safety companies, conventional establishments and youth {groups} to make sure intelligence-led monitoring and speedy response.”
