Operatives of the Anambra State Police Command have arrested a suspected pretend coordinator of the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board, recognized as Eric Nwombu, over alleged impersonation and illegal possession of examination supplies.
The suspect was apprehended on April 14, 2026, by officers hooked up to the Inspector-Basic of Police Protected Faculty Initiative squad in Atani, Ogbaru Native Authorities Space.
Based on the police spokesperson, SP Tochukwu Ikenga, objects recovered from the suspect embody eight JAMB examination slips and an train e book containing names and examination numbers of scholars.
Ikenga stated the suspect had been accumulating examination slips from candidates who visited a cyber café to verify their examination centres, falsely claiming to be a JAMB coordinator within the space.
