Three luxurious buses belonging to Silver Transport firm have been destroyed in an early morning explosion at Mando Motor Park in Kaduna.
The exploded autos are CNG powered.
The incident occurred round 3:00 a.m. when the autos have been parked in preparation for interstate journeys later within the day.
A supervisor with one of many logistics firms working throughout the park, who spoke on situation of anonymity with Blueprint.ng mentioned the explosion occurred whereas the autos have been stationary.
Whereas stating that the affected buses have been newly bought, the supervisor “Thank God nobody was contained in the autos. They have been parked to board passengers this morning,” he mentioned.
He added that the buses have been powered by Compressed Pure Fuel (CNG), expressing considerations over their utilization.
“These autos are utilizing CNG. We’re not matured sufficient to make use of them,” he mentioned.
