The Nigerian Air Drive (NAF), below the Air Element of Operation Hadin Kai, has eradicated a number of terrorists in Sambisa Forest following a precision air interdiction performed on 19 April 2026.
The airstrike focused fighters hid throughout the Yuwe axis of the forest after credible intelligence—supported by Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR)—confirmed the presence of lively terrorist parts working from fortified constructions and bunkers.
In a press release, the Director of Public Relations and Info, Air Commodore Ehimen Ejodame, disclosed that NAF air property engaged the targets utilizing precision munitions.
The operation resulted within the destruction of the recognized constructions, the neutralisation of a number of terrorists, and the elimination of key logistics services, as confirmed by subsequent Battle Injury Evaluation.

He added that the NAF would intensify precision engagements throughout the theatre of operations, sustaining decisive strain on terrorist parts whereas strictly adhering to guidelines of engagement and minimising civilian hurt.
