The Minister of Transportation, Senator Mentioned Ahmed Alkali has formally tendered his resignation to the Presidency.
This transfer follows the presidential directive requiring all political appointees in search of elective places of work to step down from their present roles.
A press release issued on Tuesday by Particular Assistant, Media and Publicity, Workplace of the Minister of Transportation, Umar Alkali Jibril, said that the Minister is resigning to contest the governorship within the upcoming elections.
“In his letter, he expressed deep appreciation to the President for the chance to serve, citing vital progress made within the transportation sector throughout his tenure.
“The President has accepted the resignation and thanked the Minister for his devoted service to the nation,” The assertion learn.
