The Israel Protection Forces (IDF) stated on Thursday that it carried out a focused strike within the Beirut space, claiming it eradicated Ali Yusuf Harshi, who it described as the non-public secretary and nephew of Hezbollah Secretary-Normal Naim Qassem.
“The IDF carried out a strike within the Beirut space and killed Ali Yusuf Harshi, who served as the non-public secretary and was the nephew of Hezbollah Secretary-Normal Naim Qassem,” the army stated in a press release.
A correction was later issued clarifying that the person killed was the nephew of Naim Qassem, not Naim Qassem himself, as beforehand implied in earlier reviews.
